The Circle of Circle City

Per suggestion of Lawry's co-worker and her Hoosier husband, we headed to downtown Indy to Monument Circle and split some hot dark chocolate with the works (it was like 15 degrees after all).  He gave me the cherry on top.  What a sap-a-doo.

"Golly, we should get married" #2:  You eat the whipped cream off of your hot chocolate first and then drink it.  This isn't something I do myself, but I like to watch you do it.

Le Learning

So, I started teaching last Monday, and I was reminded of how much I lurve it and how much aspects of it drive me up a wall.  Interesting expression.  Anyway, I feel so much better about this semester than any semester past.  I'm looking forward to learning with and from them again though.  At the end of the day, I always love it, and it is always a good experience.

In warmer news, my fun roomie gave me this scarf from le Europe! And, Belgian chocolate... I would post a picture of that too, but I opened it up to break off just ONE piece and it's ooeey, chocolatey, melty goodness forced me to eat three.  Ah, peer pressure...

You've said the magic word.

What, "please?" No, CHOCOLATE.  Bloomie-town is having a CHOCOLATE festival at the end of the month.  Activities include chocolate pancakes, chocolate olympics, chocolate with wine, chocolate prom, chocolate mystery theater! Chocolaty, chocolatier, chocolatiest! I may start saving up some money to attend some of these events.  I love chocolate.

I've completed my first week of the semester and I intend to reward myself soon.  But I may hold off and celebrate with a friend.  Plus it will allow more time for me to work-out and preemptively burn off the calories I will ingest in choco-fest.
