Internet=Brain Boot Camp??

Lawry says, YES!

 (Lawry at 5 Brothers in DC...right?)
Here is where I, girlfriend with the self-involved blog, lead you to the critical thinking exercise blog of my vair vair mature boyfriend.  Actually, all rational people the internet over should visit his blog and engage in philosophical/analytical/logical & reasoned debate with him.  I am advertising for him 'cause like I said, he is the mature one and isn't seeking to be world-renowned blogger, like moi.  He is humble-type. Anyway, like I said, Lawry wants to practice his logic and critical thinking skills.  In order for that to happen: people must break down his arguments.  So, be a dear and go, you know, tear his argument apart, but nicely, because he is a nice person (FAR nicer than me).  And I like him, and there's no need to be mean anyway!

Enjoying my tenth cupcake this week,
MJ

yes! lawry has a blog! more time for me to waste!

breaking down arguments is what i teach on the gre. it is my favorite part.

i think boys may just be nicer than girls. david is def nicer than me. but why are there more men in jail? you'd think they would use their niceness to not commit crimes. or maybe it's part of girl-craftiness that we just evade the law...

or perhaps there are gendered notions of deviance.
if girls are bad, they are manipulative and crafty, (lesser crimes), and if boys are bad, they are tough and mean (higher crimes). okay, back to my book on spanish women and citizenship (the reason I know the tiniest bit about this at the current moment).

btw lawry, my book is teaching me boys are/were jerks. jus' sayin'

bryan tabor took a SOCI class on deviance. i was SUPER jealous. one of his "research" projects was to perform some deviant act and take notes on the response of people around him. ...so he dressed up in a gorilla suit and walked around the library during finals week. my favorite part was when he went in the computing center and printed out a picture of a banana. don't know what kind of grade he got. but it was entertaining!

Why is Bryan Tabor always "Bryan TABOR?" Never just "Bryan." It's a question I have.

Was your super jealousy of Bryan equivalent to your love for fruit bowls?

for your other bloggees who don't know him! "always?" that's an absolute malsita. i do not know of these infinite instances where i have included his last name. although, if i did before, it was probably because i think his last name is cool.

and yes. comparable. social deviance sounds fascinating to study. i do LOVE fruit bowls :)
