Origami? I know a guy...

Whilst in Canton this past weekend, Lawry and I picked up this old hymnal for a DIY wedding project.  So while I got busy on the project stuff, Lawry made me a little gift.

It is now my favorite origami lily. He was very proud of his folding prowess, and said he'd make more with his origami friend down in College Station.  In other news: we are now < 5 months away from the wedding! Hurrah! And, I finished my paper, wahoo! Vacay for a week!

Junk on this Table - $1

My mother- and aunt- in-lurve and I went to Canton on New Year's Day to hunt down some cool steals for the Wambrano Wedding this past first Mondays.  The saying is true: One man's junk is another man's pile of trash. Just kidding! We found some cool things and we had such a good time with the Welchies.  Lawry came with us and he bought himself a new wallet for the first time since high school (that other wallet was living on a prayer), and lots of fried catfish.

When I blog tomorrow, I will officially be on real winter break.  No school work for one whole week! Hurrah!
