Lawry LURVES wassail. Wah-sul or wah-say-el? I'm pretty sure it's the first one. So as part of his Christmas present, I made him tradish wassail minus the eggs that are supposed to in it. Ack. Anyway, for those of you that adoré mulled wine, the wassail was fabbity fab! If you don't like the spices in mulled wine, maybe not so much for you, but this wassail was a bit clove heavy. Next year, one clove less. We then watched It's a Wonderful Life, one of Lawry's favorite Christmas movies!
We equally enjoyed the Belle mug.
Love and joy come to you, and to your wassail, too! May God bless you and send you a happy new year! May God bless you and send you love!
Happy Christmas, Cherry Holidays, and Merry New Year mes bloggies,
MJ (and Lawry)

Wassail is indeed SO delish... and I thought it was pronounced the 2nd way, not that it matters! I can get a SUPER yummy recipe for you to try next year if you want. It's a traditional recipe made by our "honorary grandparents". She makes it every year and it is fabuloso!
Catie, that sounds so good! I'm still unsure about the pronunciation... eh! I would love a super yummy recipe for next year! Or, for next week, whatever! Send it my way, and send my love to C and ZiZi!
Malsi is a good gifter.
But the song doesn't work if you pronounce it wah-sail! The song!
