Just an article someone shared with me. Be warned, I cried, but I cry at everything nowadays, so take it for what its worth. But it'll definitely at least make you tear up :)

Wow. Incredible. I'm glad stuff like this still happens.
"it's nice to know that one of the best presents you can give is still absolutely free. Hope."
Shoot. I didn't tear up until I read that last line.
russell: why don't you have a blog? dooooooo it.
i had a blog once. i've thought that if i ever did it again, it would be a themed blog of some kind. maybe something like "life observations of a christian liberal," or a "from the LSAT to the bar" blog. law school blogs seem to be very therapeutic. i'll think about it!
this is completely unrelated to anything on this blog right now, but i just found out what we're having for lunch after church this sunday at the tiny little hick church that i lead worship at...homemade DEER CHILI. i've never even heard of that. i thought i grew up in the country, but apparently NOT.
You should tell them you're vegan and see what happens.
hahaha, you know, i just found Simon (the pastor) on facebook and i almost added him...but i think i'll wait til my tree-hugger discussion is a little farther down on the wall.
Probably for the best, otherwise he might think you are an infidel. Like Reed thinks.
so, i'm late in reading this article, and i actually had already heard this story from my dad, but i am crying. i am a weeping weeper.
good story, mals! thanks for sharing.
p.s. russell, i agree, i think you should blog too.
Annie, blogger has DENIED me access to your blog. What is this ridiculousness? (sung to the tune of "What child is this?" in honor of Christmastime)
